The Silly Sprout children’s shop is scheduled to be in a new home by the end of May.
Owner Jessica Marullo-Dell’Aera is relocating her popular store from 7 West St. to 503 Bantam Road, a building at the corner of Bantam Road and Bissell Road. The building’s current tenant, Grace, a custom furniture store, will be closing.
“We are very excited about the standalone location,” Marullo-Dell’Aera said in a statement Monday. “Our private parking lot will ensure parking for each guest and a drive-up for curbside pick-up. The space is perfect for us, one level for easier shopping with a nice yard allowing us to have future events, outdoor tent sales and much more.”
The Silly Sprout will be moving into its third home since opening in 2015.
“We want to thank the community for their six years of support,” Marullo-Dell’Aera said. “During the last year of the pandemic we have held on and it’s all because of our loyal customers.”
In the new space, The Silly Sprout will introducing new toys, books, clothing and more, according to the owner. A grand opening is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
