Litchfield Hills Lacrosse’s girls’ team, which is made up of girls from Litchfield High School, Wamogo and several other high schools in the area, lost to Watertown, 9-4, at Plumb Hill Playing Fields on Monday.

Bob Leigh of Litchfield is the team’s coach.

Scoring goals for Litchfield Hills in the loss were Meryl Hartmann, Bridy Reilly, Julia Bond and Kylie O’Brien. Goalie Zoe Inglis made seven saves.

Samantha Brady, who attends Wamogo, and Reilly each had two goals for Litchfield Hills in a 10-8 win over Bristol Eastern in the first game of the season on Friday. Scoring one goal were Maddy Lowry of Goshen, Bond, Hartmann, Savannah Leigh of Litchfield, Charleigh Newman, and Sagely Brenner. Inglis made 11 saves.

“Very well-rounded scoring, which is awesome,” coach Leigh said.
