The Twilight Concerts on the Farm series at South Farms in Morris has by all accounts been a huge success over the past three weeks.
Some Morris residents have expressed concern about the number of concerts scheduled through October and noise being produced and have brought the matter to the attention of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission is scheduled to address the issue during a virtual meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m.
South Farms, which has had its wedding and special event business curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, has been hosting concerts since Aug. 22 in a partnership with Premier Concerts/Manic Events, which needed a home for its concert schedule after its venue in New Haven was closed by the pandemic. Under state social distancing guidelines, up to 500 people can attend concerts at South Farms.
Based on comments on the South Farms Facebook page, the series has been warmly received by music fans.
