Jeremy Brignolo, manager at the Village Restaurant in Litchfield, welcomed customers when the restaurant’s outdoor dining area opened on Wednesday.
Wednesday was reopening day for many businesses in Litchfield that had been closed for about two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Outdoor dining areas opened at the Village Restaurant, @The Corner restaurant, Patty’s Restaurant, and the Mockingbird Kitchen in Bantam, among others. Retail businesses that had been shuttered, like Rachel’s Quality Consignment, opened their doors too.
The re-openings are part of phase I of Gov. Ned Lamont’s re-opening plan for the state.
