The coronavirus pandemic wasn’t going to keep the parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua Church and their pastor, Monsignor Robert F. Tucker, from celebrating Mass during Palm Sunday weekend. Tucker held Mass in the church parking lot on Saturday and Sunday while wearing latex gloves and a mask as precautionary measures. Peter Tavino, a parishioner, launched his drone to photograph the Mass on Saturday (see below). Plans to hold Mass outdoors on Holy Thursday and on Easter weekend have been scrapped upon the order of the Archdiocese of Hartford.

The Stewart girls sold flowers after Mass.
