In a tournament at Stonybrook last weekend, each 2-man team played 27 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday for a total of five 9-hole matches. Winning a match is worth two points, a tie is worth a point, and tenths of points are given for each hole won beyond the one for victory.
At the end of the play on Saturday, the team of Ron Johnson and Matt Grosclaude led Larry Browning and Dan Brinkoff by 1.2 points.
