Young photographer captures images of LHRR

Wamogo Regional High School sophomore Jackie Weik grabbed her camera and went to work during the 41st Litchfield Hills Road Race on Sunday. Below are some of the images Jackie captured between Chickadee Bridge in the fifth mile and St. Anthony Cemetery in the sixth mile.

Eventual winner Eliud Ngetich, left, and Bernard Lagat, who would finish second, are in full gallop as they cross Chickadee Bridge and make the turn heading to Whites Woods Road, below.

Gladys Kipsoi, the first female finisher, crosses Chickadee Bridge.
