Things were looking up for Wamogo's girls soccer team after the first half of Monday's game against Housatonic.
In the home field debut of its new coach, Filipe Lima, Wamogo dominated play and held a 1-0 lead on a goal by Emma Williams.
But it all turned around in the second half, with Housatonic gaining the upper hand and coming back for a 2-1 win. Wamogo's leaky defense, which has given up nine goals in two games, opened the door for Housatonic to tie the contest and then win it with 15 minutes left.
Goalie Jessica Binkowski made nine saves for the Warriors, who fell to 0-2.
