Lewis Mills showed just how much better it is than the rest of the Berkshire League on Monday when it dominated second-place Wamogo in a 74-39 win.
Mills led 14-13 after one quarter and gradually pulled away using its superior rebounding, inside game and three-point shooting. The Spartans drilled nine three-pointers in improving to 16-1.
Wamogo, which led by seven points early in the game, is 13-3 heading into tonight's home game against Litchfield. Garrett Sattazahn and Eric Zappone each had nine points to pace the Warriors.
