Local runners enjoy success at Norfolk race

Several local runners competed in the 40th annual Norfolk Memorial Day 5-Mile Road Race on Monday.
 
Four Litchfield Track Club runners finished in the top five out of 190 finishers, led by Robert Dwyer's first-place finish in 32:16. Dwyer, 37, was an LTC Junior Olympic All-American in both cross-country and track and an outstanding runner for the Berkshire School and Yale University. Third place went to Paul Rosenberg (33:51), fourth to Mike Main (34:27) and fifth to top female finisher Sherri O'Dell (34:35). Brynn Bergin was 17th in 37:29.
