Litchfield Track Club runners post top finishes

Litchfield Track Club runners competed in two races over the weekend starting with the Moonlight Run 5K in New Milford on Friday night.
For her third road race in a row, Brynn Bergin, 12, of Goshen, was the first female finisher, this time at the Moonlight Run. Her time of 20:18 was good for 20th place overall out of 417 finishers.
Teammate Pink Wright,12, of Goshen, ran 20:47 to finish 28th and was the first 14 and under finisher. Michaela Breakell of Goshen placed 148th in 26:19, and Cian Bergin, 8, of Goshen, ran a 34:01 for 329th place.
On Saturday morning in Torrington, the Raider Run 5K started in a downpour and ended in sunshine. The LTC placed three runners among the top ten finishers with Sean Clinkscales, 13, third in 18:33, Jack Paulin fourth in 18:52, and Eric Crook sixth in 20:00. Paulin and Crook were 1-2 in the 15-18 division.
Gabriel Vega was the first female and 25th in 23:06. Troy Woodward and Yaldel Arrigoni were 2-3 in the 14 and under division.
