Litchfield track and field teams swept by Thomaston

Litchfield squared off against Thomaston at Plumb Hill Playing Fields on Tuesday and fell short in both the boys and girls meets.
In the girls competition, Thomaston prevailed, 104-44. Thomaston won the boys meet, 88-52. Litchfield's girls are 0-7; the boys 2-6.
Amber Marino won the 400 meters and the long jump to pace Litchfield's girls. Molly Andrulis won the 110 hurdles and Sarah Beres was first in the pole vault.
For Litchfield's boys, Antonio Muratori was a double-winner with first-place finishes in the 300 hurdles and javelin, Caleb Canfield won the 110 hurdles, Mateo Tiul the 800 meters, Jon Dieck the high jump, and Augie Hurtado the pole vault.
