Litchfield swimmers look to clinch BL title |
Litchfield High's swim team stayed unbeaten with a 94-83 win over Gilbert on Wednesday and will face Shepaug in a Berkshire League showdown Friday at 4 p.m. at Shepaug.
A win over Shepaug would clinch the BL regular-season title for Litchfield. Litchfield, coached by Gordon Brown, defeated Shepaug earlier in the season. In Wednesday's win, Henry Kavle, Collin Dunn and Eric Sandrib each won two events for Litchfield. Kavle was first in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle, Dunn was first in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke, and Sandrib was first in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Nick Rinaldi won the 100 butterfly. Below are the meet results: 200 medley relay
