LHS's Hurtado breaks his own record in pole vault

Litchfield High's Augie Hurtado shattered his own school record in the pole vault on Thursday by clearing a height of 14 feet, 6 inches in a meet against Gilbert at Plumb Hill Playing Fields. Hurtado's previous record of 13-6 was set last year.
Gilbert won the meet 98-41 to drop Litchfield to 0-8. Litchfield won the girls meet against Gilbert, 60-56, to improve to 1-6-1.
