LHRC celebrates National Learn to Row Day

Saturday was National Learn to Row Day with demonstrations and on the water experiences provided for those interested in learning more about the sport at the Litchfield Hills Rowing Club (LHRC) boathouse.

Club officers were on hand to assist in welcoming guests interested in learning more about the sport and club sponsored competitions and events.

Strong support from local sponsors, the Town of Litchfield and the Seherr-Thoss Foundations have allowed the club to thrive and continue to provide training and competition for students and adults.
 
Strong community support has also enabled the LHRC to provide multiple boats for rowers.
 
Summer Programs are available for masters (adults, men and women, competitive and recreational) and juniors (high school and middle school students, competitive and recreational).
