Kavle smashes school record in LHS swim win |
Henry' Kavle's record-setting performance in the 500 freestyle led Litchfield High's swim team to a 96-80 win over Lewis Mills on Saturday.
Kavle won the 500 free in 5:10.30 to break Brian Sandrib's two-year-old school record of 5:11.07. Litchfield improved to 9-0 in the Berkshire League and 11-0 overall under first-year coach Gordon Brown, who has elevated the swim program to new heights. Litchfield is gearing up for Friday's showdown at Shepaug (8-1). With a win, Litchfield will clinch the BL's regular-season title. Here are the results from Saturday:
