Johnstons are top finishers in cross-country race

The annual Litchfield Cross-Country Challenge was held Saturday at the White Memorial Conservation Center. Winning the 3.1-mile race was Lee Johnston of Litchfield. His daughter, Abbie, 13 was second. Litchfield's Parks and Recreation Department sponsored the race. Parks and recreation Director Brent Hawkins ran the show.

Rosemary Lane of Goshen was first in the women's 60-69 age group.

Ryan DePaulo was the first youth finisher.
