The Cappello girls, Jenny, above and Kaylee, below, played strong games for Litchfield High's girls basketball team in a 52-37 loss to Berkshire League-leader Nonnewaug on Friday. Jenny Cappello did a god job in the rebounding and defense departments while Kaylee scored 10 points. Marissa Quesnel scored 12 points and had four assists to lead the Cowgirls, who fell to 4-9 and will play at Shepaug on Tuesday. Sierra Markelon added six points and eight rebounds.
