A cold-shooting start doomed Litchfield High's boys basketball team in the consolation game of the Cowboy Classic on Wednesday.
The Cowboys couldn't buy a basket and fell into too deep of a hole against Prince Tech of Hartford, which won going away, 61-33. Litchfield scored just four points in the first half and trailed 33-4 at one point in the third quarter. The shooting improved somewhat the rest of the way but not enough to put a dent into the Prince Tech lead.
Litchfield is 1-3.
