Wamogo once again got the better of Litchfield in the annual alumni game held Saturday night at Litchfield by the Litchfield-Morris Rotary Club.
Led by its all-time leading scorer Tracy Stolle, Wamogo pulled away in the second half for a 50-35 victory. Twenty-one years after leading Wamogo to the 1994-95 Class S championship, Stolle was still the best player on the court. She joined three other 1,000-point scorers in the Wamogo lineup: her sister, Kristi, Katie Matthews and Kellie Finn.
While Wamogo's players came from as far back as the 1990s, Litchfield's team consisted mostly of players from the last four or five years. Mackenzie MacLeod, who played for the legendary Bob Anzellotti, was the senior player for Litchfield.
