A close loss and a tie start the week for Cowgirls

Litchfield High's field hockey team has been highly competitive in the first three weeks of the season under first-year coach Lily Deering, a trend that continued in a 2-0 loss to New Fairfield at Plumb Hill Playing Fields on Monday and a 2-2 tie at Thomaston on Tuesday.
