St. Paul's Lodge elects new officers for 2018

A new slate of officers for 2018 has been selected at Litchfield's St. Paul’s Lodge No. 11, a Masonic organization that raises money for charitable causes in the community.
 
A ceremony recognizing the new officers was held Dec. 20 at the St. Paul’s Lodge on Meadow Street. Pasquale Iannuzzi was elected to lead the lodge as worship master for 2018.
 
Others elected were A. Paul Chapin as senior warden, Charles Harrell as junior warden, Arthur Carlstrom as treasurer and Philip Birkett as secretary.
 
Appointed by Iannuzzi were James Fischer as senior deacon, Kenneth Buckbee as junior deacon, Garrett Deuterman as senior steward, Michael Palermo as junior steward, Mark Dzurnak as chaplin, August Molitano as marshal and John Whitbeck as tyler.
 
The Masons are the oldest fraternal organization in the world and contribute more than $1 billion a year in charitable donations.
