School board restores full April vacation |

Litchfield's Board of Education has adjusted the school calendar for the second time this year to reflect the snow-less winter.
The board on Wednesday voted to restore a full week of vacation April 9-13. The vacation week had been shortened to April 9-10 due to the six snow days used after the October snowstorm. That move was made in anticipation of more snow days during the winter. But since there have been no snow days, the board decided to restore the full week of vacation. Under the revised calendar, the last day of school would be June 18 provided there are no more snow days. |
