The Neatly Nested Again consignment and tag sale shop is open for business at the First Congregational Church of Litchfield.

Established to raise money for the church, the shop opened on Saturday to take advantage of the busy Litchfield Hills Road Race weekend. Inventory is mostly high-quality and gently-used home furnishings and household items. The shop in the church's Pilgrim House will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church previously held a tag sale on road race weekend, but it was a lot of work, church congregant Cindy Birkins said.

"The decision was made to use this empty space year-round to raise money for the church," Birkins said.
