Litchfield High School's Class of 1967 marked a milestone on Saturday in gathering for a day of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of its graduation.

The day was capped off by dinner at the Litchfield Inn. Twenty-seven of the class's 87 graduates attended. A tribute to the 13 classmates who have passed away was held at the start of the dinner. Selectman Jon Torrant, who was vice president of the class, headed a committee of classmates that organized the celebration.

Earlier in the day, classmates toured Center School, the high school and the former Litchfield jail, which has been renovated for commercial, retail and residential use.
