The Litchfield Aid of the Connecticut Junior Republic continued its philanthropic work on behalf of CJR by hosting a well-attended High Spirits in the Hills fundraiser at the Woodridge Lake clubhouse in Goshen on Saturday.
Wine, craft been and spirits were available for tasting to complement appetizers prepared by Ciesco Catering of Torrington. The drinks were curated by the Litchfield Hills Wine Market and the Litchfield Distillery. A silent auction and door prizes were other highlights of the evening.
Proceeds will be used by CJR to fund programs for at-risk young people at its locations across the state.
