A pre-Litchfield Hills Road Race tradition resumed Saturday with a tour of graves of LHRR supporters in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Leading the tour was race co-founder Billy Neller, who started the tour several years ago to pay a memorial tribute to his fellow co-founder, Joe Concannon.
The tour still visits Concannon's grave and stops at many others, including those of Dennis (Bear) Murphy and the legendary Ovidio DeRubertis. Saturday's stroll was even more special because it was the first year it paid tribute to Neller's wife, Ali, who died last fall after a battle with cancer. Ali Neller handled runner registration for many years.
