Litchfield.bz (06-07-19)

Members of the Litchfield 300th anniversary committee and other volunteers stand beneath a banner that was hung from the old courthouse on Friday to mark the town's celebration of its 300th anniversary. A second banner was hung from the railing of the former Litchfield jail. Front row from left are selectman and committee chairman Jon Torrant, commitee members Art Coffill, Gerry Perusse and Town Clerk Lisa Losee, and Chuck Conn of the Litchfield-Morris Rotary Club. Back row from left are committee member Janet Peterson, Jerry Geci and Carol Bramley of the Greater Litchfield Preservation Trust, Bill Jones of the Rotary Club, and Eileen Schmidt of the GLPT. The banners will hang through October. BZ photos
