The Four Corners in East Morris received a jolt of energy on Sunday with the opening of Lazy Frog's, a restaurant owned by David and Marji Geremia of Morris.

Customers came and went all day long after a 5:30 a.m. opening.

"It hasn't stopped since we opened the doors," David Geremia said shortly before noon. "Everyone who has come in has left satisfied with the quality of the food and the reasonable prices."

Lazy Frog's serves breakfast, a variety of coffee and espresso, iced beverages and smoothies, sandwiches, soup and salads, entrees and desserts. There's a children's menu, too, as well as a variety of gelato flavors and ice cream.

Breakfast prices range up to $5.95, sandwich prices run from $3.50 to $9.75, and entrees go from $4.95 to $18.95. The Geremias are calling their food "casual fast," a term defined by creativity on the part of executive chef Michael Galgano.

All food is ordered at the counter and can be brought to tables inside the restaurant or taken to go. There was a line at the counter for most of the morning as locals heading to or from church and other activities dropped by to see what Lazy Frog's is all about.

"The food is fresh and excellent, the service was good and the decor and atmosphere is great," said Diane Fasano of Goshen, who stopped in for an early lunch with her husband, Len.
