Litchfield's boys and girls middle school cross-country teams swept Wamogo in meets held Friday at Plumb Hill Playing Fields. A total of 51 runners competed. Ben Laprise of Litchfield won the boys 3-K race in 13:10. Mark Corona was Wamogo's first finisher, in 13:48. In the girls 3-K race, Gabby Johnston of Litchfield was first in 15:46, edging Wamogo's Naomi Robert in a close finish. Litchfield takes on Thomaston on Wednesday at Plumb Hill.
