Plumb Hill Playing Fields, Inc. invites Litchfield residents, young and old, to the “Nights Under the Lights” sporting events to be held at Plumb Hill Playing Fields adjacent to the Litchfield Intermediate School.

Litchfield High School teams participating in the night sports events include the junior varsity and varsity girls soccer teams vs. Nonnewaug, to be held on Thursday night, September 23; the junior varsity and varsity boys soccer teams vs. Lewis Mills, to be held on Friday night, September 24 and the junior varsity and varsity field hockey teams vs. Shepaug, to be held on Saturday night, September 25. All junior varsity games will begin at 5pm. All varsity games will begin at 7 pm.

Litchfield Bancorp is this year’s lead sponsor. O&G Industries will be sponsoring the lights. Spectators are asked to make a “suggested donation” of $1 to help defray costs for the nights of sporting entertainment. Additional tax deductible donations are always welcome. Checks can be made to Plumb Hill Playing Fields, Inc. and would be accepted the nights of the sporting events or can be mailed to Plumb Hill Playing Fields, Inc., P.O. Box 1296, Litchfield, CT 06759.

The “Cowboy Café” will be open each night serving hamburgers, hotdogs, beverages and other refreshments. Come join the nights of fun!
