All-State defender Mike Odenwaelder heads a group of returning players for Wamogo's boys soccer team.
Odenwaelder, a senior, will anchor the back line for the Warriors, who were 6-10 last year and lost in the first round of the Class S tournament.
Also back are juniors Mike Bockrath, Ben Jepson, Kevin Leite and Chad Dickinson, all midfielders, and Brendan Roden, the goalie.
"With the graduation of only two key starters, we're looking to build upon last year," coach Mike Wilson said. "We will be relying on a mix of freshmen through seniors to get the job done. Our goal is to make it back to the state tournament for the third year in a row, but it will prove to be a tough challenge."
