In action for Litchfield in Friday's scrimmage against Canton are, top to bottom, Hunter Grabowski, Nick Hula and Quinn McCarthy.

A top four spot in the Berkshire League standings is the goal for Litchfield High's boys soccer team. Coach Rob Andrulis (96-54-11 in nine seasons) has reason to be optimistic with a solid group of players back from last year's 11-4-3 team.

Seniors are Will Austin (All-BL center back), tri-captains Mike Andrulis (back), Adam Rhodes (midfield), and Hunter Grabowski (striker), Quinn McKenna (midfielder), Connor Birkens (back), Ryan Corning (midfielder), James Assif (back) and Tom McGowan (back).

Juniors are Drew Gauvain (back), Mark Luzzi (goalie), Nick Hula (striker), Kyle Murphy (striker), and Quinn McCarthy (midfielder).

Key newcomers are juniors Ryan Pickett (striker), Sam Jacobs (midlfielder), Nick Guerrera (midfielder), Phil Simonin (striker), Alex Fabbri (back), Tom Courtney (back), Nick Hall-Wiggins (midfield) and Jason Leigh (back), and senior Arty Adili (striker).
