Runners put to the test at Night of Miles |

Litchfield's Parks and Recreation Department and the Litchfield Track Club held the second Night of Miles at the Plumb Hill Playing Fields track on Thursday. Runners of all ages and abilities turned out to challenge themselves in the mile. Parks and recreation Director Brent Hawkins, Litchfield Track Club coach Dave Driscoll and timers Billy Neller and Marathon Bob Gardella were on hand to oversee the event. In the photos, top to bottom, former Litchfield High runner Katie Pratt leads one of the races for females; Bryan Atwood of Litchfield and his daughter, Ava, circle the track; the girls mile gets underway; and Maggie Swomley of Litchfield shows good form.
