The Tri-Town Trojans won their first two games in the Tri-State League playoff tournament and will play at Bethlehem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Saturday, the Trojans (15-9) rocked Tribury 14-1 at Community Field as Landon Gardella stroked three doubles and had three RBI and Connor Murray two singles and three RBI. Steve Price had three singles and one RBI and Casey McDonald, Danny McCarty, Kyle Osolin and Joe Bunnell each had two hits and one RBI. The Trojans had a season-high 19 hits.
Andy Dooley was the winning pitcher.
On Sunday, Tri-Town was held to five hits but held on for a 2-1 victory at Wolcott. Mile Scribner pitched a six-hitter and struck out nine for the Trojans. McCarty had two singles and one RBI and Troy Kobylarz had a double and a single.
