The sixth week of the White Memorial Cross-Country Series on Thursday drew more than 90 runners on a steamy evening. The series resumes this Thursday at 6:30 and concludes Aug. 19. In the 3-K race, brothers Chris and Josh Mangini of New Hartford were first and second in 12:13 and 12:49, respectively. Allison Meyer of Southbury was the first female, in 13:22. Greg Lush of Thomaston won the 5-K race in 16:46, the 10th fastest time in the series, and Sabrina Olsen of Thomaston was the first female, in 19:20. In the 4-K, Zachary Williams of Morris and Irene Brown of New Hartford were the first male and female, respectively. Rob Breakell of Goshen, the record-holder in the 2-K, was first in 6:51, five seconds off his record. Jessica Newbury of Litchfield was the first female, in 10:00.
