Tri-Town's Kyle Osolin, taking a swing in a recent game at Community Field, helped lead his team past the Litchfield Cowboys on Tuesday.

The Tri-Town Trojans received another strong pitching performance in defeating the Litchfield Cowboys 5-1 at Community Field on Tuesday.

Miles Scribner pitched a six-hitter and struck out five as the Trojans improved to 11-9 and took another step toward clinching a playoff berth. Steve Price belted a home run and Nick Lahoud had two hits for the Trojans. Leland McKenna had two hits for the Cowboys, who fell to 8-11 with three games to play. Litchfield hosts Bethlehem Thursday at 5:45 at Community Field.
