The Litchfield Cowboys picked up a much-needed win in the Tri-State League on Thursday with their 5-2 conquest of Prospect at Community Field. Leland McKenna stroked a two run double and had a single, Dylan Stiles a double and a single, and Chris Beach a double to pace the Cowboys, who improved to 5-8 and are still in the hunt for a spot in the league playoffs. Kevin Murray pitched well in earning the win.
