Six Litchfield Track Club runners qualified for the USATF Junior Olympics national track and field championships with their performances at the Region I Junior Olympics championships in Brunswick, Maine, on Sunday.
The national championships will be held in Sacramento, Calif., July 27-Aug. 1. Qualifying were Calvin Palmer of Watertown (third in boys 11-12 high jump); Jackson Morrow of Harwinton (third in boys 13-14 3,000 meters); Ray Mennin of Bethlehem (second in boys 15-16 high jump; Rachael Rosow of Avon (first in girls 13-14 800 meters); Sara Iannone of Northfield (third in girls 15-16 1,500 meters); and Devin Voight of Thomaston (third in girls 15-16 long jump).
