A six-run bottom of the sixth inning led Litchfield to a 12-9 baseball victory over Terryville in the final game of the regular season.
Coach Kyle Weaver's club now awaits word on who it will play in the first round of the Class S tournament next week. The Cowboys are 11-9 and likely to open the tournament on the road.
In Wednesday's game against Terryville, the Cowboys trailed 9-6 before the sixth-inning rally. Matt Magaldi's two-run single put the Cowboys ahead 7-6 and Hunter Grabowski drove in the final two runs with a double. Mark Luzzi and Quinlan McCarthy each had three hits for the Cowboys and Grabowski was the winning pitcher in relief.
