Crampton wins twice as LHS swimmers beat Gilbert
(2-5-10)

Litchfield High's swim team posted another impressive victory Wednesday, dunking Gilbert 97-87 to improve to 7-4.

It was the second straight win for Litchfield since its coach, Bill Dranginis, returned from a two-week suspension for falsifying a swimmer's time last year.

Individual winners in the meet for Litchfield were Tim Crampton in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Joey Janice in the 200 freestyle, Joe O'Leary in the 100 butterfly, Nick Rinaldi in the 100 freestyle and Eric Sandrib in the 500 freestyle.

The success in the individual events saved the day for Litchfield because it lost all three relays.
