Andrew Luzzi, top, and Quinn McKenna have been key players for Litchfield High's boys basketball team, which faces Shepaug tonight.

Litchfield High's basketball teams resume play tonight at 7 against Shepaug, with the girls playing at home and the boys on the road.

The boys are 10-3 after a 69-47 romp over Housatonic on Friday. Anthony Brown's season-high 22 points led the Cowboys. Mike Andrulis added 14 points.

Litchfield will be looking to sweep the season series with Shepaug. Looking ahead, the Cowboys play at Wolcott Tech on Friday and host Thomaston on Tuesday as they jockey for high seeds in the Berkshire League and Class S tournaments.

The girls lost to Housatonic 58-28 on Friday and are 2-12. Sandra Quinion and Jennifer Cappello both had five points for the Cowgirls. Litchfield should match up well with Shepaug (4-11) and with Wolcott Tech up next on Friday the Cowgirls have an excellent chance to pick up a pair of wins.
