Wamogo's Mike Odenwaelder scored 36 points and hit the game-winning basket in Friday's overtime victory over Shepaug.
Wamogo's Mike Odenwaelder came through in the clutch Friday, banking in a jumper with 17 seconds left in overtime to give the Warriors a 56-54 victory at Shepaug.
Odenwaelder, who had defenders all over him on the shot, finished with 36 points to lead Wamogo to its second consecutive win. The Warriors are 7-4 heading into Tuesday's game at Northwestern.
Shepaug, with just four wins coming in, gave the Warriors fits all night and forced overtime by outscoring Wamogo 16-11 in the fourth quarter.
Odenwaelder was the lone Warrior in double figures, but it proved to be enough. Steve Celadon and Spencer Albano both added seven points for Wamogo.
