Wamogo girls soccer coach Roberto Medic, in between the Wamogo and Litchfield boys and girls basketball games Jan. 15, holds up a plaque awarded to the team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The award recognizes the outstanding academic performance by Wamogo's 2008 girls soccer team. Wamogo was one of only 10 schools in the state to receive the honor.
