State representative candidate William Zappone of Litchfield held a public forum at Memorial Hall in Bethlehem on Thursday. Zappone, a Democrat, is trying to unseat five-term incumbent Craig Miner, R-Litchfield, in the 66th District, which includes Bethlehem, Litchfield, Warren, Morris and Woodbury. Zappone got into the race in late August after the initial Democratic candidate backed out.
