Three days in the sun at Goshen Fair
Litchfield.bz (9-7-10)

The 98th annual Goshen Fair concluded a successful three-day run on Monday, another dry and sunny day that drew thousands to the fairgrounds to eat, browse, and take in livestock shows and tractor and truck pulls. The Goshen Agricultural Society's president, John Ross, expected attendance to surpass 30,000 for the weekend. Proceeds from the fair will allow the agricultural society to make a donation to the Goshen Volunteer Fire Company, whose emergency medical personnel and firefighters were on duty all weekend, fund scholarships for college-bound students at Wamogo Regional High School, and make improvements at the fairgrounds. Here's a look at some of the faces at the fair.
