Warren resident Marty Cassone, a military veteran, organized a softball game Wednesday to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps permanently disabled veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The game was held at Warren Field and had about 25 participants. First Selectman Jack Travers served as the umpire.
