Primary election results for Litchfield, Warren, Morris and Goshen are now posted on our special election page found here. Local results mirrored statewide results with the exception of Justin Bernier who received the most votes for the GOP Congressional race in the 5th district, Caligiuri and Greenberg tied with 386. Caligiuri received the most GOP votes throughout the 5th district to win the party nomination. Although voter turnout was low throughout the state at approximately 20%, the Litchfield precinct exceeded those numbers with 25% in the Democratic primary and 30% in the Republican primary.
