The Litchfield Historical Society hosted a fundraising beer and wine tasting on Saturday evening. About 150 people showed up to sample booze provided by 13 vendors. It was the first fundraiser of its kind for the historical society, which will use the proceeds of the event to fund programs it sponsors for Litchfield students in grades 1-8.
