Warren's Parks and Recreation Commission, under the direction of Chairman Chris Brodhead, held its first town picnic Saturday at Warren Woods. There was food, games for children and a dance for teens. The bouncy-house slide, top photo, was a hit with children. Ron Cheney, middle, was in charge of grilling hot dogs, and First Selectman Jack Travers spends a moment with resident Dan Dacey.
